Tue 10 Clear this morning I got to Laffayette
at 11 oclock I staid a while and came
out home my bill was 87 cts it got quite
windy and cool it snowd some in the evening
I got home at four oclock P. M Harmon

Wed 11 Clear this morning quite pleasant I went
down to Hiram Geningses then I came
back and went down to home and found
them all well quite cool 1840 Harmon

Thu 12 Clear this morning quite pleasant I
had a hard time to ove hall my books
I got them all rited at last in the
evening it got cloudy and snowd some
some Father got three lots and a half
of land of Daniel Yanders at 8
dollars per acre five years to pay it in
wheat and pork at market price 1840
I went to meeting at saleme 1840

Fri 13 Cleare this morning I went up to
James Irelands in the evening it
got cloudy I went down home 1840

Sat 14 Cloudy this morning and rained som
in the evening I went home againe it
rained some of the time Harmon

Sun 15 Cloudy this morning quite cool I went
meeting at Saleme then back home after
night I went to meeting again 1840

Mon 16 Cloudy this morning quite so it rained
I cut stalks ta day after night it
turned in to raining quite hard 1840

Tue 17 Cloudy this morning but soon broke
away the sun shoen out I began to
make rails some warmes at noon
it got quite clear I cut timber
till night then I went to E.
Pattersons to meeting Harmon
