Tue 23 Partley clear this morning quite pleasent
it continued partly clear till in the evening
then it clouded up and after night it
rained some rite smart I plowed for corn
the wind blowes quite hard. one thousand

Wed 24 Clear this morning and has the appearance
of bein a fine day it continued fine all day
I plowed all day for corn the wind blows
som little all day so moe more at this

Thu 25 Clear this morning with some frost in a
little time it clouded up and was some dime
all day I plowed for corn all day 1839

Fri 26 Clear this morning with some frost some
cool it got quite warm about noon I
plowed for corn all day so no more at
this time but remember your Friend 30

Sat 27 Clear this morning in the evening it got
some cloudy and sprinkled some of raim
I plowed for corn all day Harmon

Sun 28 Clear this morning and quite warm in
the evening it clouded up and raind some
I went down to hear the Cammel its give
us a preach at Mr. Simses school house
in the evening I went to prayr meeting
held at Mr. Genings by Mr. Barnes

Mon 29 Cloudy this morning and rained some it
broke away Father started to Chicaugo
again it was some clear till in the evening
came up a despert hard rain it lightned
and thundred quite hard I furrowed out
for corn and planted som little. 1839.20.

Tue 30 Clear this morning but quite foggy I got
five dollars of timmons I went to
Lafayette in the evening it rained
some I got me a saddle at .18 dollars
I am to pay in grain alls well
