Thu 16 Clear this morning with a frost
on I made rails till at nine oclock
I hurt my right eye so that I
done no more that day I was in
a perdigious site of pain mind I tell
you after night it raind quite hard
Fri 17 Cloudy this morning but soon
brok away and got quite warm I
made some rails a little while but
my eye hurt so bad that I quit
and went to traden I traded off my
spunkey mare to David Clevenger
for tow three year of stears and one
two year old stear I give him a halter
and .50. cts quite windy at night
at dark it thundred lightned and
rained per digious hard quite a storm
Sat 18 Cloudy this morning but soon broke
away I went down home a foot and back
again then I fixed and went down to
Mr. Genings I got there at darke
Sun 19 Clear this morning I went down to
Egbot Pattersons to meeting from
Mr. Gening quite a frost on quite
pleasant all day at four I came up to
Salem meeting house this being on
easter Sunday in the year of our lord
Mon 20 Clear this morning quite a frost on
quite pleasant all day I made rails all
day quite a fine day for working 18
Tue 21 Clear this morning for a little season
and then it got cloudy and in the after
noon it rained some I made rails all
day after night I went to the young
converts meeting then home again
so no more at this time but
