Tue 29 Cloudy this morning and a raining
it commenced in the morning it
rained and sleated all day I done
nothing but try to trade some but
I dident get my ends accomplished
Wed 30 cloudy this amorning and snowed a
nearly all day I killed six praire
hens with my shot gun H. R. L.
Thu 31 cloudy and snowing some through
the courss of the day I worked for
John Graves cuting wood he drow
four loads of wood to home and one
load to milleses H. R. Lucas
Fri 1 Clear this morning and quit
cold and continued so all day I worked
for John Graves choped wood he
drowed six loads of wood hom and
two to mileses we worked litill
three O. clock it got so coald that
we quit Eliza Graves and his wife
came on a visit to John Graveses
Sat 2 clear this morning and quite
coald I think that this morning
is the coaldest morning that wee
have had. this winter before I
went old Mr. Adam Shigleys
sale things went high father got
three calvs at 11 dollars and 12 cts
after night I went Sing school
up at Calhoons school house 1839
Sun 3 clear and quite pleasent this
morning it continued so all day
itthoughed all day I went down to
Mr. Simeses school house to
meeting after night the house was
full as it could hold H. R. L.
one day after Date I promised
to pay John long bag ten Dollar
