September the 27. 1839 Page 87

Fri 27 Cloudy this morning and raining some
and has the appearance of continuing
to hold out I cleaned up 33 bushels of
oats quite cool it rained hard till noon
then it broke away and got clear and
cool I I plowed in wheat S. Pulver 1839

Sat 28 Clear this morning with a heavy
frost on quite cool in the evening it
got quite cloudy and after night it rain
ed some I plowd till noon in the after
