July the 29 . 1839 Page 78

Mon 29 Clear this morning quite pleasant it
got some cloudy in the evening I cut and
bound up oats and Michel dunfee cut hay

Tue 30 Clear this morning but soon got som
cloudy and sprinkled some of rain I
drowed in wheat for our selvs in the fore
noon in the after noon I drowed wheat
for Adam Best quite warm all day

Wed 31 Clear this morning quite pleasant I
bind up oats in hunts field we put up
66. dosens of oats in the after noon I
cradled in oats quite pleasant. 1839. 31

Thu 1 Clear this morning quite cool and nice
I am very much afflicted with boils at
this time other wise I feel quite well at
this time I finished cutting my oats in
the fore noon in the after noon I raked hay
I counted up the dayys which made four
hundred and eighty one days 1839 20

Fri 2 Cloudy this morning and raining
it continued raining we drowed in oats
in hunts field we built 2 stacks up
their it broke away the rest drowed down
oats I bound up oats for my self in
the evening I went and hired Johnsons
Graves wagon he gave me the waggon a
tirip and one dollar for a parcl of salt

Sat 3 Clear this morning quite pleasant I
bound up oats for my self in the after
noon I helped to draw in oats and claar
of a thrashing flower and then I went
down to Hirams Ginings to salt my
heifer and back home Faher and mother
went on a visit to Wm Pierces 1839

Sun 4 Clear this morning quite pleasant it got
very warm I went to Salem meeting hous
at 11 oclock I wrote some little I was in
a good dale of pain 1839 . and bouoth
