June the .28. .1839 Page 23

Fri 28 Clear this morning and quite pleasant in the
evening it gat soma cloudy I plowed in my
corn it turned some warmer than it has been
for some time Harmon Reasnor Lucas pensman

Sat 29 Clear this morning with the exception of a few
flying clouds it is quite warm Father came
home from Chickgo he got ten bushels of appels
Dried 2.50 cts per bushels four bolts of cotten
one barrel of sugar two hundred pounds of
coffey he all so lost a horse within ten miles
of home he died with the bots quite warme
I plowed in my corm so noe more at this

Sun 30 Clear this morning quite pleasant 1839
it got some cloudy in the after noon I went
up to the prayerer to l see the wheat and
then over to Salem to meeting and in the
evening I went down to Mr. Genings
to meeting S. K went with L. P.
desperate warme day noe more at prease

Mon 1 Partly clear this morning quite pleasant too
it got o little dime quite warm I plowed in
my corn Father and Mother went on a visit
down to Mr. Ginings Harmon. R

Tue 2 Clear this morning with a light fog on and
quite pleasant through out the day in the
evening was a few flying clouds over us
and thundered in the South I plowed in
my corn tilt noon theen I began to lay by

Wed 3 Clear this morning quite pleasant
it continued so all day quite windy I plowed
in my corn I plowed forty rowes of corn

Thu 4 Clear this morning quite pleasant
I went up to Delphi to a great oration
and big diner I seen g a great meny
people out there the mare fell down in
lafaye the wabash I went clean under
I came from Delphi to Pills burgh
