Fri 5 Clear this morning quite pleasant
it got some hazy and som cloudy quite
pleasant I plowed forty rowes of
corm three times in a row Harmon

Sat 6 Clear this morning quite pleasant
all day my trile was with Taylor but
I dident attend to it Father went and
him take the watch back I plowed in
my corn no nore at this time H. Lucas

Sun 7 Clear this morning and quite pleasant
at eleven O clock I wento to Salem
Meeting house to hear Horatia Barnes
exhort at four I went back to meeting
but dident stay long quite warm all day
Be humble learn thy Self to scorn
Kow pride was never made for man

Mon 8 Clear this morning quite pleasant in the
evening it rose a cloud in the North West
and rained some late in the evening it
rose a cloud in the West quite warm I
thrashed wheat in the fore noon in the after
noon I plowed in my corn 1839 H

Tue 9 Clear this morning quite pleasant all
day Father went up to Mr. Sheetses
Mill. I plowed in my corn all day 1839

Wed 10 Cloudy this morning and thundered som
and lightened som and rained som too
quite warm and sultry it got some little
pleasentor in the evening and got quite
windy Father got home from mill I
plowed in my corn all day H . L

Thu 11 Clear this morning quite pleasant and
windy too it got som cloudy in the after
noon I plowed corn Lewis Graves
helped us half a day in the evening
it got som calmer thean it was 1839
